Dear Friends and Family We have sought the Lord about partnering with a local church, and today we entered into a covenant with the Power of God church (click here to view a photo) in the village of Rwengoma, just on the edge of Fort Portal. The church has no association with any overseas church, and though we are not able to provide such a liaison we are able to offer what we have in the way of overseeing, love, teaching, encouragement, and a small amount of financial aid. The church has 65 members and the pastor, Asaba Johnson (click here to view photo), has 3 smaller churches in villages surrounding Fort Portal. At present they care for 25 orphans within the church member's homes. The association with this church comes about because of the excellent character demonstrated by the pastor and the elders. What excites us most is that we have now an opportunity to see what God will do! We have long held a vision that God is preparing a great move of His Spirit here in our region! We will continue our ministry of teaching and discipleship throughout our district and the neighboring 2 districts. As you can see - our website is progressing and we hope soon to announce it's completion...follow our progress on here!!
